*Taps Microphone* Is Anyone Out There? *Coughs Awkwardly*

Hi guys.

Salutations.

How do I blog again?  Like what do I say to you guys?  Did I say anything to begin with?  Honestly, a lot of what I wrote was obnoxious, twee twaddle, but you all stuck around.  Have a picture of a sloth.

So yeah, I did a lot of things in the month that I was AWOL again.  I took my SAT IIs (Literature and United States History; A 690 and 740, respectively.), my AP United States History exam (Which went off about as well was to be expected.  Here's hoping, right?), I got my driver's license (Stay off the roads, folks), and I had my last high school band concert ever.  Yay hooray and three cheers for merry England, even though I am an American.

FREEDOM AND GUNS

I only have about a month of school left, thank god.  I get out of school so late this year, guys.  I get out in like fucking July, it's an utter heap of donkey poop.  June 26 is not an appropriate time for school to get out, but I can't control the weather, and that was all due to snow days.  Damn seniors that don't have to make them up, so jealous.

Anyway, I've been a busy little beaver writing a bunch of new material.  It's for a writing contest at a local community theater a few towns over from me.  Hopefully something comes of it, I really do enjoy the idea I've worked up.  Just a little more writing and then a lot of tweaking and hopefully I'll have something magical.

It is going to be hard to top "Waiting Room" as that was my first, real, completed work.  It was like my baby.  Now I'm writing another baby, and I'm worried I won't love it as much as I loved "Waiting Room."  But my mom says that you just make room in your heart for all of the love you feel.  So I'm banking on that.

Otherwise I haven't been doing much with my life.  It's been pretty boring, to be honest.  Right now I'm looking up mac and cheese on tumblr and considering getting up off my butt and making some and procrastinating an essay but hey, what are you going to do?

April 12: I Promise This Is The Last Time I'll Mention It.

Today was a day of firsts for me.

First time I ever drove in the rain - and I rocked it.

First time I ever drove in hail (yeah, I had two hail storms where I live today) - and I acted like a little girl and panicked and pulled over to the side of the street to wait out the storm.

First time I ever finished anything I've ever written - and it was good!

First time I ever wrote a play - and it didn't suck!

First time I've ever entered a writing contest - and it's going to be awesome!

There is a first time for everything, and today was my day of firsts.
